Dragon Island Downwinder

Overview

Twenty-five kilometres of empty flat water past the oyster farms, the flamingos and the dunes, with a boat behind you the whole way.

Level: Intermediate — comfortable riding upwind. Sessions run around the wind rather than the clock — in Dakhla that usually means a morning slot and a longer afternoon one, with the strongest breeze from about 13:00. If a day is windless we do not charge for it; we move the hours to the end of your stay.
